WBHI AI Core HerBrain named a Time Invention of the Year
Led by WBHI AI Core Co-Director Dr. Nina Miolane, her team is working to develop HerBrain — a first-of-its-kind platform that uses advanced machine learning to visualize how the brain changes during pregnancy and after childbirth. After receiving a $1 million grant from the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) to fund the proposal to develop “An AI Model of the Maternal Brain”, the project has now been named one of TIME magazine’s “Best Inventions of 2025.”
The project is a collaboration that also involves WBHI fellows Sarah Kushner and Magdalena Martínez-García, as well as WBHI trainees Adele Myers and Louisa Cornelis.
