Postdoctoral Fellow
Laura Pritschet, University of Pennsylvania

Laura is an NIH K00 postdoctoral scholar whose work lies at the intersection of neuroscience and women’s health. She completed her PhD with Dr. Emily Jacobs at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she designed and led dense-sampling neuroimaging studies linking sex steroid hormones to brain structure and function. Now, she is scaling and translating this work to larger and more diverse cohorts. She applies advanced computational approaches to multi-modal brain imaging data drawn from both research and clinical databases to chart the brain’s response to key endocrine transitions, including pregnancy and menopause. Her overarching goal is to identify endocrine drivers that shape brain, cognitive, and behavioral trajectories across the lifespan to improve women’s health and well-being.
